  14.                 I had always wanted a collection of the Apple Start-Up Sounds.  I have never seen one on the Net, so I gave up and digitized my own.  Some of the sounds I did not digitize, so I give thanks to the other Macintosh users on the Net.  I do not know the naming convention Apple uses for the different sounds, so I hope the names I have used are acceptable.

  16.                 Some  Apple computers may have sounds which are not in this collection.  If this is the case, I would appreciate being contacted about them.  If someone can send me any missing sounds by E-Mail, I would appreciate it.

  18.                 I hope others enjoy this.  I also hope Apple does not consider this an infringment on their copywrite.

  20.                 The Start-Ups are the normal beeps that occur when any Apple computer is turned on.  The crashes (also known as the "Hawaiian Death Chimes") are produced by hitting the Programmer's Key during boot up.  It also occurs during boot up when some low-level errors occur.  "Other Apple Sounds" are simply less known sounds by Apple.
